I am excited to post that my first drum offering to the world of Kompoz has been accepted by the artist. The individual tracks are uploaded in raw WAV form to be mixed. The track is in Prog-Rock/Art Rock genre and the perfect one for me to get my feet wet on Kompoz.
The song is a bit slower (80 BPM – but that is a good thing) than I am used to playing on average but was a great challenge and creation session for me and segue further into the world of online recording. Playing slower can be challenging to keep accurate timing and execution as I remember from my band days in school. Sometimes you can get comfortable in a tempo range and it can be a great exercise to adjust your playing to keep in shape with various speed, rhythms and musical styles.
Of course styles that are in your bailiwick of listening enjoyment. 😉
